Haruki Murakami is in love with music. And musicians are in love with the Japanese author and writer’s works. At least us; Luca Longobardi, Marie Awadis, Mathieu Karsenti, Violeta Vicci, Glowworm — the duet composed of Kevin Scott Davis and Asia Dojnikowska — and Doug Thomas. This shared love for Murakami’s novels is what led us into creating Haruki, a compilation which both pays homage and takes inspiration in some of our favourite works of his. Perhaps a soundtrack to the novelist’s ideas or an artistic translation, from words to music…
